Once again this is at Darent Valley They had loads of animals there so on my breaks I was wandering around with Emma looking at reptiles and arachnids
there was a birds of prey display in which I learned how a vulture rips its meal off of a carcus but when it attacks another vulture it doesn't hurt the other bird it turns out the vulture will always go for the neck but luckily the skin on its neck is rubbery so it just pulls then the vultures leg rises and thats as a warning it means it will attack very soon
The falconer who was doing the display pulled the skin gently on the back of its neck and then opened the box they keep it in the vulture went mental on the box it was quite funny but they soon got him in and he settled quite quickly.
